To those concerned;

    The following will offer a bit of information about me, my skills and experience, my philosophy, and what I can offer to you and your concern.

    I have been working since 1991 in various roles in the computer industry. My primary concentration is in systems, information technology, and networking, with experience in web development as well. My experience level ranges from end user to management. I have chosen to focus primarily on using software from Microsoft including operating systems, web servers, and enterprise applications.

    Early experience in systems administration and desktop support developed my ability to communicate with people to understand their problems and needs, a skill and focus that I find carries right up to management and planning. Some of the most interesting work I have done was as a technical Product Manager for an Internet server product where I had the opportunity to leverage my systems experience in a new direction and further hone my communication and planning skills. My role was to translate customer concerns and desires into technical requirements for engineers, and finally into a finished solution. More recently I worked as the manager of a small team of systems engineers running a corporate office and a Internet datacenter. There I focused both on managing web servers and associated infrastructure, as well as development work creating web sites and database driven web applications. Building that team to share common goals through separate actions proved to be a very rewarding experience. My most recent work was in a Biotech start up where a regulated environment required very detailed and clear definition of procedures and plans.

    To explain more about who I am and how I work, I have written down some of my work values and philosophy. I have prepared a concise resume of my background and experience, and also a narrative resume with extensive narrative and background on my past positions.
